FIVE MINUTE MANAGEMENT COURSE

 

 Lesson 1:

 A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her  shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs.

 When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbour.

 Before she says a word, Bob says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.'

 After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob, after a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves.

 The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.

 When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, 'Who was that?'

 'It was Bob the next door neighbour,' she replies.

'Great,' the husband says, 'did he say anything about the $800 he owes

 me?'

 

 Moral of the story:

 If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

 

 Lesson 2:

  A priest offered a Nun a lift.

 She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg.

 The priest nearly had an accident.

 After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg.

 The nun said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'

 The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up  her leg again.

 The nun once again said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'

 The priest apologized 'Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.'

 Arriving at the convent, the nun sighed heavily and went on her way.

 On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It  said, 'Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.'

 

 Moral of the story:

 If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

 

 Lesson 3:

 A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch  when they find an antique oil lamp.

 They rub it and a Genie comes out.

 The Genie says, 'I'll give each of you just one wish.'

 'Me first! Me first!' says the admin clerk. 'I want to be in the Bahamas , driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.' Puff! She's gone.

 'Me next! Me next!' says the sales rep. 'I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse,  an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.'  Puff! He's gone.

  'OK, you're up,' the Genie says to the manager.

 The manager says, 'I want those two back in the office after lunch.'

   Moral of the story:

 Always let your boss have the first say.

 

 Lesson 4

  An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.  

 A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?'

 The eagle answered: 'Sure, why not.'  So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

 

 Moral of the story:

 To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

 

 Lesson 5

 A turkey was chatting with a bull.

 'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.' 'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. They're packed with nutrients.'  The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.

 The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.

 Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

 He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

 

 Moral of the story:

 Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there..

 

 Lesson 6

  A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.

 While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.

 As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.

 The dung was actually thawing him out!

  He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

 A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.

 Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

 

 Morals of the story:

 (1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.

  (2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.

 (3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

PUT THE GLASS DOWN

Put the glass down

Professor began his calss by holding up a glass with some water in it.

He held it up for all to see and asked the students”How much do you think this glass weighs?”

“50 gms!”…”100gms”…”125gms” the students answered.

“I really don’t know unless I weigh it.”sais the professor,”but,,my question is :What would happen if I hold it up like this for a few minutes?”

“Nothing”the students said.

“OK,What would happen if I hold it up like this for an hour?”

“Your arm woul begin to ache “said one of the students.

:You’re right,now,what would happen if I hold it for a day?”

“Your arm could go numb,you might have severe muscle stress and paralysis and have to go to hospital for sure.” Ventured another student and all the students laughed.

“Very good,But during all this,didi the weight of the glass change?”

“No.”was the answer.

“Then what caused the arm ache and the muscle stress?”

The students were puzzled.

“What should I do now to come out of pain?”asked professor again.

Put the glass down!”said one of the students.

“Exactly!”said the professor.

Life’s problems are something like this.

Hold it for a few minutes in your head and they seem OK.

Think of them for a long time and they began to ache.

Hold it even longer and they begin to paralyze you.You will not be able to do anything.

Tt’s important to think of the challenges or problems in your life,but even more important is to PUT THEM DOWN at the end of every day before you go to sleep.

That way,you’re not stressed,you wake up every day fresh and strong and can handle any issue,any chanllenge that comes your way!

Regular Health Mistakes

 


All of us make little health mistakes that cause damage to our bodies in the long run - simply because we are unaware we are doing something wrong. Here are some of the most common mistakes made by many of us.


Crossing our legs
Do you cross your legs at your knees when sitting? Although we may believe that this is the lady-like elegant way to sit, sitting this way cuts down circulation to your legs. If you don"t want varicose veins to mar the beauty of your legs and compromise your health, uncross your legs every time you realise you have one knee on top of the other. The best way to sit is to simply place both legs together on the floor, balancing your weight equally. If you feel like changing position, instead of crossing your legs, simply move both legs together to one side. As an alternative, you could also consider crossing your legs loosely at the ankles. This is a classically elegant way to sit, and is far better for your legs and your health than sitting with your legs crossed at your knees.

Not changing our toothbrush
How often do you change your toothbrush? Most of us wait until most of the bristles have either fallen off, or are in such bad shape that we"d be embarrassed to pull out our brush in public. However, since not many of us need to pull out our brush in public, we carry on with our frayed one until we lose it. Replace your toothbrush often. Damaged bristles can harm the enamel, and don"t massage your gums well. If you find brushing your teeth a pain like I do, but know you must do it, you might as well be doing it right. Imagine going through the annoyance of brushing your teeth twice a day only to find out that you"re damaging your enamel every time you clean your teeth. Also, use a brush with soft bristles unless your dentist has advised otherwise.

Eating out often
There are oils that are high in cholesterol, and oils that cause little harm and are better for your heart. However, no matter how light the oil is, it is never a good idea to eat too much of it. Avoid fried foods.Remember that in all probability your favorite Indian food restaurant throws a huge, HUGE chunk of butter in a tiny bowl of dal. Rita, who worked in the kitchen of a 5 star hotel, was shocked when she saw the cook chop a 500gm butter slab in half, and throw half into a Paneer Makhani dish. No wonder the customers left licking their fingers. And no wonder they felt so stuffed and heavy afterwards. Limit outdoor eating unless you know that you"re getting served light and healthy food.

Skipping breakfast
Never, ever skip breakfast. Remember, when you wake up in the morning it"s been around 10-12 hours since your last meal. Your body needs food now, more than at any other time. Eat a heavy breakfast. You will then be busy through the day, and the calories will get expended quickly. If you are trying to diet, eat a light dinner. Here are some more common health mistakes we make. Being informed and making a few changes can help make us feel a whole lot better.

High heels
High heels sure look great, but they're murder for your back. This however doesn't mean you should steer clear of stilettos. Wear them, but not when you know you will be walking around a lot. Wear them when going out for lunch or dinner - when the only walking you will be doing is to your car, to the table, and back. Avoid high heels when you are going somewhere on foot. If you are constantly tempted to wear your heels, take a good look at your flats. Is there something about them you dislike? Invest in a new pair of beautiful flats or shoes with a low heel. Buy something you love, that you will enjoy wearing. If possible, get a matching bag. You will then enjoy your flats as much as you do your heels.

Sleeping on a soft bed
You don't have to sleep on the floor be kind to your back, but do make sure you have a firm mattress. Although a mattress on springs is soft and lovely to sink into, it's bad for your back. If you already have an old bed with springs, you don't need to invest in a new one - simply get a thick wooden plank put over the springs, and place the mattress on the plank. Similarly, if your mattress is old and lumpy, throw it out and get a new one. Your neck and your back will thank you. The same rule applies to sofas. If you will be spending hours on a sofa, get a firm yet comfortable one. Sofas you completely sink into are not the best idea.

Pillows
No matter how comfortable sleeping with ten cushions is, have pity on your neck and resist. Sleep with one pillow, and make sure it is not too thick. If your pillow gets lumpy, discard it and go for a new one. Get a thin pillow if you sleep on your stomach, and something a little thicker if you sleep on your back, to give your neck adequate support.

Not exercising
So all of us know we should exercise more, but many of us don't. This is a health mistake we consciously make! And why is that? Simply because we refuse to admit the damage we are causing to our bodies by not working out. A number of people only start working out once they've experienced a warning signal. Don't wait for a heart attack to strike before you decide to opt for a lifestyle change. Make the change now. You don't need to train for the marathon to be in top shape. Half an hour of brisk walking three to four times a week will make a world of difference to your health. You could then increase this to forty minutes, four times a week - and you're all set. If you haven't exercised for a week, you're making a mistake.

My love

It was autumn,you know,i like autumn,ont only like,but crazy about it.It was my last autumn in college,i went back to college after a long long summer holiday ,the reason why i call it a long long summer holiday is that it was followed by National Day,totally three moths and a half.Actually,i don't like my college very much,it's not the one i wanted to be in,but i am here,i have to be in this college,i don't want to wast half a  word on this,even you want to know more.It is the very  autumn,i met him,not by accident,but a short appointment made by my sweet girlfriend,agreed by me.She dated with her boyfriend,and her boyfriend asked his friend to greet me.Such,i knew him,and he knew me.Then,about 20minutes later,we departed.I thought it's a end,I never know it's really a begin,a begin of happiness,a begin of sorrows,a begin of honey ,a begin of quarrel ,a begin of a endless trouble.Before trouble troubles me,i trouble trouble.Yes,it is.

Recently status

I am working in a foreign financed enterprise after my successful career hopping .I thought i would have more spare time as work in such a company,for foreign financed enterprises don't like to ask their staff  for overtime work, as we all know.
yeah,we are all right,the foreign financed enterprises seldom demand extra  hour work,unfortunately,the nearer to time for  getting off work,the more work comes to me,i can come back home from work at 17:00pm according to affice system,but how can i leave company with so many thing to be arranged ? so  i have to work overtime for free everyday  to arrange everyting coming to me around 17:00pm.
I used to get off work in  the previous company at 18:00pm,i considered  it too late to get off ,so i resinged and come to this company  whose getting-off  time is 17:00pm,ironically,I usually  leave the office after 18:00pm now,it's really extravagant for me to leave before 18:00pm.
have no alternative but  to pay my  extra passion to my work.OH MY GOD!!

For National Day

How time flies!National Day is approaching,  it is the first Natinal Day i have after i  graduated.
i used to travel on holiday such as   May Day ,National Day,but ,this time,my plan is staying at home.
only when i join in the society,do i taste the  the first rough and tumble of life, i spend more than i earn,i save nothing but depression.
life isn't easy,as the old saying goes:no pains,no gains.the only thing i should do is to dedicate myself to my job,just fighting!
a bright future is waiting for me in some place! why not to come up?

 With excellent academic records, I receive a Bachelor's Degree of HuaiBei CoalIndustry nomal College with a  major in journalism. I am sure that I have already been equipped with the essential qualities to my working position extremely strong senses of profession's responsibilities, persistence and requires. The procession of the society development goes forward as the waves moves, which are conducted, by the intelligent and wiser. I believe I will meet the wiser, so I can devote myself to the profession and business whatever I face.

   with the development of science and technology, the key to success in keenly competition is having excellent talents. To become a qualified person for society, I study hard during my four-year university period, not only in specialty, but also extensive useful knowledge and skills, such as English and computer software. CET_6 does say something about my language ability if I can be employed in a corporation where English is needed.  I have tried my best to be a person of comprehending competence. What's more, I joined kinds of social activities and organizations to  enhance my team spirit as well as the ability of outstanding leadership.I have also spent a lot of time learning some other subjects such as dancing in order to widen my horizon and raise my competitive capability to be engaged in the society.It requires great efforts, courage, patience and prominent ability for a student to deal with the social activities.And it is safe for us to predict a good chance for those who can manage to do so to show their potential abilities in other different fields.

keep slim

I went  back to my college several days ago,no matter who I came across on campus,all of my classmates said in surprise:”Oh ,my god,you get fat!!”,with their mouth shaped ‘O’.Yeah,all of them are right,I became fat ,and may will be getting fatter and fatter.

    Honestly speaking,I don’t like to be fat,so I make my mind to lose weight. Can it be my intention to diet to keep my figure?According to the fact that I used to eat too much ,so I'm supposed to go on a diet, but i know  it  not good to keep slim at the cost of my health,I will not keep myself  on an empty stomach ,I will eat less ,and at the same time, take more exercise..Rope jumping is selected as to lose weight,I make 2000 jumps everyday ,1000jumps every morning ,another1000 jumps in the evening.After jumping  I  rub my legs,from lower leg to thigh.

   Now,it has been half a month since I determined to lose weight,and some words like”You're skinny enough without going on a diet!”come to me, I know,I have lost weight successfully!

What I have to do from now on is to keep fit and keep slim.

Lonking forward to being home

Honestly speaking,i am not busy with my work,in other word,i am kicking my time in my company.However,i am not allowed to go back home.
I have made my mind that once i leave ,i will never go back to this company.i determine to do so .There are so many reason that  i don't know with which to begin.
Whatever,do my best with my job everyday until leave!

Turn a new leaf in my life

Long time no see!There were some errors in the system which made it impossible for me to log in to my place,the errors lasted so long that whenever I tried to log in I’m  faced with rejecting.However,it is the very  today I entry the system successfully,and now,I am expressing myself.

But ,what makes me surprised and depressed is that one problem ends while another coming.as this old saying goes,the new problem is the power in my company keeps breaking down what makes it hard to keep writing.

Even though,I still determine to have a try.The number 2007 has taken the place of 2006 in the calendar,the pig ,one of the animals of CHINESE BIRTH year, as a symbol, instead of dog ,begins to show in the stage.It turns a new leaf of the history,and there are so many new looks in the life.it is the right time to sum up the past year and look forward to the futurity.

For me ,I will do my best to stick to write here in English from now on.

吵着架过新年

和他吵了个小架,从2006年一下子吵到了2007年,累啊!本来说是一个有意义的事件,可以跨年份聊个两年,没想到吵了两年。
喜欢他干净的样子,喜欢他说话的语气,喜欢他笑起来整齐白皙的牙齿,喜欢他眼镜下那两只俏皮的眼睛。可是这些绝不足以是结婚的通行证。
我在想,我怎么就遇到一个结婚狂呢,一提到这个问题,气氛就紧张。性格再传统,也不能逼婚啊,也没见前辈们结婚都那么积极啊。 
沟通有问题,很有问题。怎么办呢?

年末

最近好象在日志上变哑巴了,很少来了,也很少写了,没有力气了。
可能是心态上还没有转变过来吧,总是不能全身心地去工作,也不知道自己怎么就工作了,而且是一个以前从来就没有想过的工作。
激情没了,斗志没了,目标也没了。知道在这里干不长,又不知道下一步去哪里。
突然开始考虑以后的生活,很多时候突然脑袋短路,觉得自己真无法生存,很压抑很窒息。
自己在改变,从一个什么都不在意什么都不考虑的没心没肺的人,变得开始考虑家人,考虑自己,考虑将来,真的不能一个人随随意意的过下去,身上真的是有责任的,不是说不让家人担心就足够,也想让家人从我这里得到幸福,物质的,精神的。
可现在感觉,物质上是困乏的,精神上是空洞的,实质上是一无所有的。
在学校的时候,总以为,面包是伸手就可以得到的,现在觉得,面包是分很多种的,伸手拿到的跟你理想的总是差距那么远。也发现,理想中的那一种是你永远无法拿得到的,跟你的努力拼搏无关。
可是,还是得继续。

工作遭罪啊

      工作也有一段时间了 ,一直在调整适应。如果非要说说工作的感觉,那就是没有自由了!天天被困在公司,忙也是,不忙也是,反正就是不能随心出去了,所有自己的计划都很有可能被放弃,因为公司没有固定的休息日,要休息就先打报告,等批了才能做决定,而且时间也很短,这对于一向自做主张的我,实在是一个酷刑!有时候甚至要被逼疯,脾气不好,心情不好,想一走了之。可哪里又不是这样呢?
     生活上感觉很不习惯,这里绝对不是一个适宜生活的地方,工作倒还马马乎乎,如果严格来讲,也不适宜工作。我留在这里,也是希望能学到一些东西,哪怕是不规范的东西,也可以知道不规范的是什么样子的。我做事也不喜欢有头无尾,不想刚对公司熟悉了就离开。
可是,我亲爱的自由啊!我连回个学校都要匆匆忙忙,很紧迫,很不爽啊!
     至于和同学朋友小聚就更不可能了!突然很后悔那么早就出来工作,在学校的日子该多滋润啊!没法回头了!
有没有一种工作,可以只要求在规定时间完成,而不管你在哪里完成,不管你怎么完成?可不可以在自由的范围里工作?

小鱼启事

常时间配戴隐形眼睛,常时间对着电脑,不免有眼睛发炎之症状。上个月,小鱼配了一个眼睛,超级丑鱼妹哦,兄弟姐妹们有胆大的可以去我另一个池塘看看哦,http://hi.baidu.com/yzshyw
另外有一个事要征求一下大家的看法:小鱼同学长发飘飘了好多年了,如果我突然剪掉了长发,换成干练的短披肩甚至短发,大家预想一下那会是什么样子。不知最近大家有没有人闲着能有时间来看一下。
